![]() ![]() I've rated a lot of bad books poorly because I loved the high while reading them, but for certain this is one review that I can't lie on. I do have to say I am glad I picked it up and didn't DNF it. That is even stating that this book has been on my shelf for the longest. I have to say, if it wasn't for watching a youtuber digest this book and come out saying it was the perfect summer read, I would have never picked it up. Although, in the middle, I was completely drowning in the love that Poppy and Alex have for each other that it made the struggle all the more worth it in the end. ![]() In the beginning, I couldn't grasp onto what I was reading because the switching was so thrown that I was majorly confused. ![]() It had a lot to do with not understanding the hype surrounding Emily's books. When I first started this read, I was confused by a lot. "We've always existed in a kind of world for two, but that's not the case anymore." ![]()
